No! That is a massive difference. Our zip-lock bags use a standard, easy-to-use track intended for customer convenience. Child-Resistant Bags use a certified locking mechanism that requires specialized dexterity for safety—these are two totally different legal and functional products.
The primary shelf-life extension is handled by the full aluminum foil base before opening. The zipper’s job is to maintain that crucial barrier protection after the customer opens the initial heat seal, preventing oxygen and moisture from continually degrading the contents between uses.
